Minto Brown Island Off-Leash Dog Park in Salem, Oregon offers a variety of activities for your dog. You can take your dog on miles of trails or go to the dog park. Or you can let your dog swim in the Willamette River. While your dog will enjoy the opportunity to run and play unrestrained in the Minto-Brown Island Park’s designated dog area, you should exercise caution because the area is not fenced.

Minto-Brown Island Dog Park Amenities

Minto-Brown Island Off-Leash Dog Park offers more than 1,200 acres of lush land. Even Central Park in New York City can’t match the size of Minto-Brown Island Park in Salem.

An off-leash dog area of 30 acres is available for your dog to roam, play and meet other dogs. Be aware that the park is not enclosed, so your dog should be well-trained in recall (come) skills before visiting. The owners are ultimately responsible for keeping their dog from chasing wildlife, as there is plenty of it around.
